Your night, our stage.

The Concert: a wordmark that looks like the stage before the lights go up

The Concert · Events

The Concert puts on live nights, and needed a name that works on a ticket, a stage screen and a wristband without shouting. We designed the wordmark, the line “Your night, our stage” and a palette of olive, amber, black and white, delivered in seven colourways ready for every surface the brand will meet.

An events brand lives on surfaces it does not control: a ticket on a phone, a banner over a stage, a wristband, a post at midnight. The Concert needed a mark that holds up on all of them, and says what the night is for before anyone reads the line-up.

We kept the wordmark wide and quiet, and gave it one idea. Its E's are drawn as three open bars, like lights rigged over a stage or the levels on a mixing desk, so the word itself looks lit.

The line underneath, “Your night, our stage”, splits the promise in two. The evening belongs to the audience; the stage is the brand's job.

The palette is olive green, warm amber, black and white, chosen to read in a dark room and on daylight print alike. The mark was delivered in seven colourways, from amber on black for screens to black on amber for posters, so every surface already has its version.

Delivered in September 2024 under Switch Creation, the studio Aurex grew out of.
